Who are Justin & Erica?

Justin Champion AKBD Bio:
"Justin Champion has been in the Kitchen and Bath Industry since 2009. Before falling in love with kitchen and bathroom design he ran and operated an automobile dealership in Melbourne, FL. As the economy was failing in 2008, close friends pushed him to pursue his dream. He went back to college to obtain an Interior Design degree. He ultimately fell in love with kitchen and bath designs, so he also obtained a degree in Kitchen and Bath and Architectural Drafting.
Justin excels at pushing the design forward by using the most cutting-edge products and innovative techniques to enhance the day to day use of the space. His designs never fail to provide a creative solution to what seems like to the client as an inextricable challenge. He loves connecting with clients and learning how each individual uses their space uniquely. He challenges the client by solving any issues, pointing people in directions that they would have never considered, and making the best use of the budget and space. In the end, it’s the “lightbulb moments” that Justin lives for; when a client can see the final project come together.
Justin’s mantra is “Ornament is Crime.” This style is simple and overexaggerates the saying “less is more”. He thrives in mid-century and art deco design.
When Justin is not at work, he and his partner are restoring a mid-century modern Rockledge home. Justin is also a huge British car fan. He travels through the States and Europe attending British Mini events. You will sometimes see his original (right hand drive) Mini Cooper in the parking lot."
**(AKBD stands for Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer, a certification offered by the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). It signifies that the designer has met specific education and experience requirements, and has passed a written exam demonstrating their knowledge in kitchen and bath design. )

Erica Katz Bio:
“A graduate of Western Carolina University’s accredited Interior Design program, Erica brings both artistic sensibility and technical precision to every project. Originally from North Carolina, she discovered her passion for design in its unique ability to blend creativity, functionality, and technology to bring a client’s vision to life.
At S&W, Erica plays a vital role in project execution by developing detailed technical drawings and documentation that ensure each design is both beautiful and buildable. Her goal is to make the remodeling process seamless and enjoyable—resulting in a finished space that clients truly love.
Erica has a deep appreciation for Scandinavian design, especially its use of natural materials and soft, serene palettes. Outside of work, she channels her creativity into a variety of artistic pursuits including drawing, felt art, and card making (you’ll never catch her giving a store-bought card!) She also shares her home with two curious and beloved cats, Kepler and Newton.”
